You can engage in immersive programs that explore your artistry. Workshops and classes provide hands-on learning opportunities, fostering creative talents in a supportive environment. These programs aim to inspire a lasting appreciation for the performing arts, nurturing the next generation of theatre enthusiasts, and help train the theatre artists of tomorrow.
Participation in STUDIOMLT workshops, classes, coaching, etc. does not guarantee casting in MLT productions, nor must you participate in STUDIOMLT events to be considered for casting in MLT productions.

Acting for Beginners - 4 Sessions
Stretch and grow your natural talent by learning the fundamental tools it takes to be an actor. We will explore script and character analysis, stage presence, acting terminology, physicality, characterization, and improvisation to advance each student’s confidence and creativity. Let’s build your knowledge of the basics and learn how to bring your uniqueness to every story.
Suitable for all beginner actors ages 11-18!

Meet the Instructor!
Lydia Noelle is a seasoned educator and performing artist with a wealth of experience. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Arts from the University of Mobile, she is licensed and endorsed in multiple disciplines- such as Theatre, Music, and English. With over two decades of dance and vocal training, Lydia has also honed her skills in stage combat, earning certifications in unarmed, rapier and dagger, and quarterstaff. Her extensive performance history includes notable roles such as Jo March in Little Women, Cassie in A Chorus Line, and Sally Bowles in Cabaret. Beyond performing, Lydia has excelled as a music director, blocking director, choreographer, and acting coach, making her directorial debut with Finding Nemo Jr. at Meridian Little Theatre. Currently, she serves as the CenterStage Director, dedicating herself to inspiring confidence in youth. She is excited to provide acting coaching, vocal training, pageant coaching, and more to the community of Meridian.
